The MVBA Bee School is the best introduction to beekeeping! The six session course includes information about honeybees and their colony, establishing your first hives, the equipment you need (including how to acquire the bees!) and all of the knowledge to get you started with beekeeping!

Bee School runs for 6 weeks in February and March. The classes are held in person at St. James Church 646 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH 03054 from 6:30-8:30. We also offer a zoom option. The lessons are recorded and posted on the Bee School website, so you can go back and watch them as many times as you’d like.

Bee school registration starts in January of every year and the cost is $50.00.

If you have any questions, or would like to attend Bee School for 2026 session you can still join and catch the recorded sessions for the prior weeks. Contact Marise at president@mvbee.org to join.

Bee School is $50 for members.
